RETURN & WARRANTY POLICY

Lifestyle Backyard Pods

1. Overview

At Lifestyle Backyard Pods, all our pods are custom-designed and built on-site to meet individual customer requirements. Due to the nature of our products, standard retail return policies do not apply.

2. Change of Mind

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind once:

The order has been confirmed, and/or
Materials have been ordered, and/or
Construction has commenced

3. Custom-Built Products

All backyard pods are made to order based on your selected:

Size and layout
Materials and finishes
Windows, doors, and custom features

Because of this, products cannot be returned or exchanged after installation.

4. Defective or Faulty Work

We comply fully with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a repair or remedy if:

The product has a major defect, or
The workmanship does not meet acceptable standards

A major defect includes:

Structural issues
Significant manufacturing faults
Installation faults that affect usability

5. Reporting Issues

If you believe there is a defect, please:

Notify us within 7 days of installation
Provide clear photos and a description of the issue

We will assess and respond promptly.

6. Resolution Process

Depending on the issue, we may:

Repair the defect
Replace faulty components
Provide an appropriate solution in line with ACL

We do not offer full returns or refunds unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Warranty

We provide a workmanship warranty covering installation and build quality.

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse or external factors
Modifications by third parties

8. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges due to the custom-built nature of our products.
